When to look for when buying Kratom?
When buying kratom it is very important to look for not only the right brand, but also the right place to buy your product from.
- Look for a brand that is tested for unwanted particles such as metals or pesticides and other contaminants. You don't want to ingest something that would potentially harm you. You want a reputable brand that does these test. Brands like Happy Hippo and Kats Botanicals are great at advertising and assuring to their customers that their brands are thoroughly tested and safe to consume.
- Look for a kratom brand that follows GMP protocol which ensures good manufacturing practices and quality of the product. Not everyone puts this on their packaging, some just don't want to clutter up their product with additional information that one can find on their website. Does that mean all kratom brands who don't have GMP protocols in place a bad brand? Not at all, some are probably in process of being certified others might be just starting out not sure how to go about getting certified but that does mean that they are bad brands.
- Look for reviews, reviews can tell you a lot about a product but take it with a grain of salt when reading very short reviews that say product didn't work. Why? Well the primary reason is that you don't know if the person is writing a genuine review or just trying to put down a brand. When someone rights a short and bad review without much thought behind it that is very suspicious. Also, people are different, and thus they might have a different reaction to a brand of kratom than someone else. For example someone who has only used Earth Kratom brand product tries Happy Hippo and says it did nothing for them or they felt really bad after taking it. Well, here is the problem, they might have been used to taking Earth Kratom which means they dosage might be high. Then they took the same dosage for Happy Hippo but what they failed to account for is that Happy Hippo might be a stronger strain and that causes a bad side effect. Never take the same dosage of a brand you have never tried before, look for their guide and adjust from there.
